Aims and Programme

In September 2015, De Montfort University and Curve, Leicester, supported by the Arts Council England, UK Theatre and the Independent Theatre Council, held a one day conference that explored relationships between professional theatres and higher education in the UK.

The discussion begun there continued in a second event on Thursday 15 September 2016 where academics, theatre practitioners, programmers, policy makers, producers, technicians, students and audiences came together to share experiences and practices, and to map future exciting initiatives.
